Mina has advised on key finance transactions including advice to SOROS Fund, Shelter Afrique, PROPARCO, Ecobank Development Corporation, Ghana Home Loans, Zenith Bank, UK and First Rand Bank. She has also provided financial advice for the development of residential and commercial properties in Ghana. Mina has worked on several Real Estate and Property Transactions. She is an alumnus of the International Lawyers for Africa (ILFA) Programme and worked with Pinsent & Masons, UK.

  • Advice/conduct of due diligence in respect of on acquisition of shares in one of Ghana’s biggest hotels.
  • Advice / due diligence in respect of an investment firm on the acquisition of shares in a chain of retail superstores in Ghana.
  • Advice in respect of the combination/merger of their bottling operations of their non-alcoholic ready to drink beverage business
  • Advice on the development of a 7 acre land (“the Exchange”) within the Airport enclave in Accra.
  • Advice on the conversion of a conventional loan to an Islamic Finance loan in respect of the financing of the FPSO John Agyekum Kufuor
  • Due diligence / advice on the financing arrangements in respect of funding of real estate projects developed by some real estate companies in Ghana
  • Advice and Conduct of due diligence on a loan and security transaction in respect of loan facility to Africa World Airline
  • Advice on a loan and security Arrangement for a $100m facility to one of the telecommunication companies in Ghana / preparation of facility agreement.
  • Review and comments on draft facility agreement between Bank of New York Mellon and a West Africa Central Bank
  • Advice on Loan Transaction between CDB Jiangxi Branch and Zhongmei Engineering Group Ltd
  • Due diligence on and advice to Shelter Afrique on financing arrangements in respect of funding of real estate projects developed by Rehoboth Limited, Emerald Properties Limited and Blue Rose Limited
  • Evaluation of the effectiveness of Alternative Dispute Resolution and Adjudication in Conflict Resolution in International Business Transactions.
