Training and Capacity Building at AB & David, we believe that training & capacity building is central to developing the much needed human resources required for the development of the continent. We have facilitated several capacity building programmes in infrastructure development, procurement, and Public-Private Partnerships. AB & David also organizes regular public seminars on the impact of existing and
proposed legislation, policy and cross-border protocols on business on this continent.

Under the auspices of the German Development Corporation (GTZ) AB & David is currently running training programmes in public procurement for all oversight institutions (Serious Fraud Office, the Office of the Attorney General, the Judiciary,

Commission For Human Rights & Administrative Justice, the Audit Service) as part of the training and capacity building function of the Public Procurement Authority Ghana.

Job Application Process

Internships & Exchange Programmes

There are two one-month vacation placement schemes each year at AB & David; April and July. Being an intern at AB & David exposes you to all the possibilities that law practice presents. We provide a learning environment for local and international students who are about to complete their law degree or professional law course. When you start your internship with us, you are given the opportunity of working in several of our practice groups. You are assigned a buddy who provides the guidance and assistance you need to make the most of your experience with ABD.

Students who want to be considered for our internship programs should:

  1. have completed at least two years study in law
  2. not be more than thirty- five (35) years of age;
  3. Applicants are required to send an online application(marked “Internship”) consisting of a Cover Letter stating why they want to do an internship with AB & David and a two (2) page CV.

Exchange Programmes

We value the experiences gained from working with lawyers from diverse backgrounds and other jurisdictions. We encourage exchange programmes between our lawyers and other law firms.
