Daniel has vast experience in legal practice in Uganda. He has advised public infrastructure companies,
offered legal and transaction support to big corporate entities in Uganda and represented many corporate
companies in courts of law including the government of Uganda.
Daniel is a pioneer Alumni of the Africa Legal Support Facility Academy
and has obtained extensive training by the Africa Legal Support Facility to handle complex transactions in Oil & Gas,
Mining, Infrastructure & PPP’s, Energy and Natural Resources as well as Sovereign Debt & Project Finance.

Key Transactions

Acting as legal counsel to Ecopoly Uganda Limited in connection with the US$1.7 million facility to by DFCU Bank Uganda Limited for the establishment of a Polyethene form plant in partnership with MECEN IPC KOREA LIMITED in February 2017

Acting as legal counsel to Marma Technical Services Limited in connection to obtaining US Dollars 7.5m financing for Kisinga Hydro Power Limited from China Africa Investment and Development Company Limited in 2016

Acting as legal counsel for United Bank of Africa in debt recoveries as part of legal support functions between 2017 to 2018

Acting successfully for Madhvani Group and an individual client in acquisition of real estate (Former Rippon Falls Hotel before the High Court of Uganda, property worth 2,000,000 US Dollars.

Offering legal and transaction support to several project developers and investors setting up energy plants in Uganda.
