Mina Quist-Therson

Deputy Managing Partner

Mina Quist-Therson joined the firm in 2010 and has since been an integral part of the firms Finance and Real Estate & Property Practice groups.  She has advised both local and international clients on Loans Security and Capital Markets Transactions as well as Mergers and Acquisition and Real Estate Transactions. Mina is an alumnus of the International Lawyers for Africa (ILFA) Programme during which she worked with Pinsent & Masons, UK.  Mina is the Chairperson of the firms Life at Work Committee which promotes work-life balance and work place satisfaction.

KEY TRANSACTIONS

Some of the key deals she has worked are:

  • Syndicated loan provided by nine local banks to MTN
  • Domestic Medium Term Note Programme issued by Ghana Home Loans
  • Acquisition of Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel
  • Financing provided by AfDB to Ghana Cocoa Board.

 

Key clients she has represented include IFC, AfDB, Soros Development Fund, Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund, Credit Suisse and Rendeavour Ghana. Mina has a knack for developing and implementing winning strategies, and puts skin in the game in the best interest of the clients she serves.
