Akua is a lawyer at AB & David Ghana. Her areas of focus are Banking and Finance, Natural Resources and Extractives, Energy, Infrastructure, Corporate Restructuring, and Merger and Acquisitions. Her recent work with the firm include transaction advisory on the Trans Volta Inland Ports project, legal advisory services to the operators of the DWT/CTP and SDWT petroleum blocks, and legal advisory services in respect of a US$120m facility to a leading oil and gas downstream operator in Ghana.
Akua obtained her LLB from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana in 2015 and Professional Law Certificate from the Ghana School of Law in 2017. She also holds an LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of Dundee in the UK (2019) and an LLM in Business and Taxation Law from CY Cergy Paris Université in France (2019).
She is a member of both the Ghana Bar Association and the International Bar Association.
She is qualified to practice law in Ghana.
