Kisia is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution Practice Group. He specialises in banking & commercial litigation, employment, and labour relations disputes, land and property, arbitration, and general commercial contract advisory matters.
Kisia holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the Strathmore University Law School (SLS), Nairobi, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.
EXPERIENCE
- Part of the team representing an international research institute in various disputes relating to land ownership.
- Part of the team representing a Kenyan bank currently under receivership in a claim that seeks the tracing and recovery of approximately USD 340 million which was deflected from the bank.
- Part of the team currently advising a Kenyan Government corporation in restructuring and formulating their internal Employee Retirement Policy Framework.
- Assisted the team that acted on behalf of the Hon. Attorney General in the 2022 Supreme Court Presidential Petition.
